In the last session of DFW2016 Preparatory Sessions, we were pleased to have Dr. Masao Takano from Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Nagoya University to talk about Satoyama system and its change with people in Japan. After the seesion, participants raised many questions to Prof. Takano. We hope this session could help our students further understand the situation of rural Japan.
