For the FY2026 Domestic Fieldwork (DFW) program, students are divided into two groups—the Local Revitalization Cooperator (Chiiki Okoshi Kyoryokutai) Group and the Multicultural Coexistence Group—to conduct fieldwork in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture.
Last week, on Thursday, June 25th, we carried out our preliminary fieldwork.
Students had prepared questionnaires and other materials in advance, and through interviews with local stakeholders, each group was able to deepen their understanding of their respective topics.

“On our first visit, our team received an extremely warm welcome from the Seki City Hall and the Kaminoho Regional Community Council. At City Hall, we received an explanation of the Local Vitalization Cooperator system, along with helpful feedback and information. We were also grateful for the opportunity to speak directly with a current member of the program, whose personal experiences gave us many valuable insights. In the Kaminoho community, we were provided with a wealth of reference materials and detailed information about past Cooperator members and their activities. Through detailed records of former members’ work and their impact on the local community, we were able to learn how the Local Vitalization Cooperator initiative has developed in this region over time. All of this information was shared with us kindly, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking forward to our next site visit!”

2026年度の国内実地研修（DFW）では、岐阜県関市にて地域おこし協力隊グループと多文化共生グループの2つに分かれてそれぞれ調査を実施いたします。
先週6月25日（木）には、さっそく予備調査を行いました。
学生はこの日のために質問紙などを準備し、関係者のインタビューからそれぞれのトピックについて、学びを深めることができました。
地域おこし協力隊グループのコメント
「私たちのチームは、初めての訪問において、関市役所および上之保地域委員会から非常に温かい歓迎を受けました。関市役所では、地域おこし協力隊制度に関するフィードバックや情報などの説明を受けました。また、現役地域おこし協力隊のメンバーの方とお話しする機会をいただき、その経験談から非常に有意義な知見を得ることができたことに感謝しています。上之保コミュニティでは、多くの参考資料や、過去の協力隊の方やその活動に関する豊富な情報をいただきました。また、過去のメンバーの活動や地域社会への影響に関する詳細な記録を通じて、この地域における地域おこし協力隊の取り組みがどのように展開されてきたかについても学ぶことができました。すべての情報は、和やかな雰囲気の中で親切に共有していただきました。次回の現地調査が楽しみです！」
