DFW 2025 was conducted in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, from October 6 to 8, 2025. This year, the education group focused on learning support for children with foreign backgrounds, while the tourism group explored the potential for “sustainable tourism” in Seki City.
On the evening of the first day, we enjoyed Oze cormorant fishing, and on the second evening, we had a gathering with local stakeholders and interacted with the community.
Thanks to the tremendous cooperation of Mr. Takayuki Kitamura, who coordinated the entire fieldwork, and the people of Seki City, this year’s survey was again very productive. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
The students will proceed to analyze the data for the presentation sessions at GSID in November and in Seki City scheduled for around December.
2025年10月6〜8日、岐阜県関市にてDFW2025が実施されました。教育グループは、外国にルーツのある子供への学習支援、観光グループは、関市における「持続可能な観光」の可能性をテーマとしました。
初日の夜は小瀬鵜飼を楽しみ、中日の夜は地域の皆様との交流会が催されました。
全体の調整をしてくださった北村隆幸さんと関市の皆さんの多大なご協力のおかげで、今年も大変充実した調査となりました。誠にありがとうございました。
11月のGSIDでの報告会と、12月に予定されている関市での報告会に向けて、データの分析をがんばります！
