OFW 2025 was conducted in Battambang Province, Cambodia, from August 23 to September 6, 2025, under the cooperation of The Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) as the host university. Fourteen students were divided into three working groups: Agriculture, Education, and Gender.
Thanks to the cooperation of everyone at RUPP, led by Prof. Hoy Reasey as coordinator, the fieldwork proved highly productive for all groups. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the local stakeholders who kindly agreed to be interviewed.
At the weekend, we visited the neighbouring province of Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat.
At the conclusion of the programme, we held debriefing sessions in both Battambang Province and at RUPP, where we received valuable feedback from local stakeholders. We will use this input to draft our final reports upon our return to Japan.
2025年8月23日〜9月6日、王立プノンペン大学（RUPP）の受け入れの下、OFW2025がカンボジア国バッタンバン州で実施されました。今年度は14名の学生が農業・教育・ジェンダーの３グループに分かれて、それぞれの調査テーマ・調査計画に基づいて現地調査を実施しました。現地コーディネーターのHoy Reasey先生をはじめとするRUPPの皆さんのご協力により、どのグループも大変充実した現地調査となりました。また、インタビューにご協力くださった現地関係者の皆様に厚く御礼を申し上げます。
週末には隣のシェムリアップ州に足を延ばしてアンコールワットの素晴らしい遺跡を観光しました。研修の最後には、バッタンバン州とRUPPそれぞれで報告会を実施し、現地関係者から多くのコメントをいただきました。このインプットをもとに、帰国後に報告書を執筆します。
