April 27, 2016 is the real start of OFW2016. The selected participants joined the 1st session consisting of schedule introduction, guidance on document submission, fee payment and vaccination, and team building. In the team building part, each team members introduced each other first. Then, they decided their team spirit and selected Pangunahing Kuordinator (Main coordinator), Pangalawang Kuordinator (Sub-Coordinator), Kalihim (Secretary), Taga-Aliw (Activities Coordinator) and Mediko (Medical caregiver) of each team.
