[DFW2024] Fieldwork in Seki City, Gify\u3000\u5c90\u961c\u770c\u95a2\u5e02\u3067\u306e\u73fe\u5730\u8abf\u67fb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OFW 2024 was conducted in Seki City, Gifu prefecture, from October 9 to 11, 2024. DFW has been done in Seki City for three years. Different themes are covered each year and it helps our deeper understanding of the City from various perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, 6 students were divided into two group: education and tourism. Education group focused on local festivals and the hometown consciousness of young people, while the tourism group surveyed the perceptions of citizens, tourists, and private companies about tourism in Seki City and comparing them with the local government’s tourism strategy. Thanks to the tremendous cooperation of Mr. Takayuki Kitamura, who coordinated the entire fieldwork, and the people of Seki City, this year’s survey was again very productive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the evening of the 9th, we enjoyed Oze cormorant fishing ship with grilled Ayu, and on the evening of the 10th, we had a dinner with stakeholders and interacted with the local community. The students will now proceed to analyze the data for the presentation session at GSID in November and in Seki City scheduled for around December. Let’s do our best!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
