Ogaki North High School, designated as a Super Global High School, visited GSID as part of the GSID open campus program on 12 July

Ogaki North High School, designated as a Super Global High School by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, visited GSID as part of the GSID open campus program on 12 July. 44 Ogaki North High School students and 11 GSID international students participated in this event.

 

 

The students participated in interactive group discussions with the international students in GSID. They also enjoyed the traditional Indonesian music performance and the campus tour including University library and Nagoya University Museum. Through this event, Ogaki North High School students began to recognize the importance of English leaning and cross-cultural understanding.

 

 

Nagoya University Campus ASEAN outbound long-term and short-term participants (two students from GSID, 2 students from School of Law) made presentations on their overseas study experiences. In their presentation, they mentioned how the overseas experience had changed their awareness, cross-cultural understanding, English communication skills. They actively participated in group discussions between international students and Japanese high school students as assistants.
