New Academic Year Sets in Motion
Now, I’m in the first stage of spring semester 2012, and getting in routine work as usual. Of course, I want to enjoy the academic year 2012-13 as the eldest in GSID, and hopefully, our colleagues would treat me softly. Minimizing paper or pc work is in the first priority. However, I will post comments in this blog more frequently.
Informal Alumni Meeting in Shanghai
I enjoyed the city center of Shanghai with two beautiful ladies on March 29 after I presented paper on “Mingzhou in Japanese Text” at a joint conference by Fudan university and International Research Center for Japanese Studies. Another two persons joined the dinner at the hotel I stayed. All four are graduates from Ph. D. program in GSID, one from DICOS, one from DID and two from DICOM. They were busy but very active.

Super-Aging Society
Thank you for putting comments on this boring blog. I forgot to update it. Actually, I take care of mother of age 81 who has problems in short term memory. She sometimes misses appointments she bookes. Today, I found her not to go to the dentist. She has these kinds of small troubles in her everyday life yet another, so I should be careful with her. However, I find myself to have similar problems. How can I see myself when I am working in GSID? That’s a big issue for me. Please notice me of anyting about GSID.
The 20th Anniversary of GSID
Unexpectedly, I was appointed as chief in the committee of the 20th anniversary of GSID. It can’t be figureheaded work. I have to arrange a lot of things. That puts heavy load on my brain. Bad for my health. Help me.
Four dissertations
I am currently taking on four dissertations. I understand reading these works would make me knowledgeable even I am over sixty; however, it’s heavy duty. Of course, these four volumes are literally heavy.
Football and Globalization
I am looking for information of comprehensive and empirical research of professional football of the world. In particular, it might be interesting if it discusses ethnic background or transnational migration of footballers.
Put some materials up
I put some mateirals up in the evening. I’m too old to manage a kind of webpage but it looks good training for my brain. So, I will do this work at least once a week.
Get down to Blog
Actually, I got huge pressure from one of my colleagues, then I’ve just started doing my blog. Of course, I’ll enjoy it. Thank you, Ryu-san and Ohno-san, for providing essential infomation of doing blog.
